Top 5 Things We Cannot Wait to Experience at Disney

We have spent months talking about Disney and what we want to do first. The kids have changed their minds at least eleven times a day and I have created several arguments by asking innocent questions like “which ride are you most excited for”.

But we have managed to narrow it down to our top five.

1. Seeing the castle

I will probably cry. The kids will probably shout. Someone might trip while staring up at it. Magical all round.

2. Meeting the characters

The children claim they will hug every princess and Mickey will instantly be their best friend. In reality they might stare silently and hide behind my legs but that is fine. It will still be adorable.

3. The snacks

Everything seems to be shaped like Mickey. Perfect. We are fully prepared to eat our way through the parks and pretend it is for the experience not because we are starving every two hours.

4. Fireworks at night

We will be tired, sweaty and possibly carrying a sleeping child like a sack of potatoes but we will still be smiling at the sky and pretending we are in a Disney film.

5. Riding the rides

We have watched every YouTube video and the kids are already giving themselves imaginary height checks. They are convinced they are tall enough for everything. The measuring stick may say otherwise.

There are a million things to look forward to but these are the ones we talk about constantly. The excitement is building and if we keep going like this the neighbours will know exactly how many days we have left too.
