It feels like a good time to do a little reintroduction.
Because life has changed, the kids are older, and honestly… I’m not the same person I was even a year ago.
So hi, I’m Ashleigh.
I’m 33, a mum of four, and very much still figuring things out as I go.
This space has always been a mix of chaos, honesty, and the bits of life that don’t always make it onto the “perfect” version of things.
And that’s exactly how I want to keep it.
I’m married to my husband, who you won’t see on here.
Not because he’s not part of everything — he absolutely is — but because he prefers to stay off social media.
He’s supportive, calm when I’m not, and the kind of person who just quietly holds everything together in the background.
Then there are the girls.
Thea is 13.
She’s alternative, has a very dark sense of humour, and somehow manages to be both my child and someone I feel like I’ve grown up alongside.
I had her at 19, so in a lot of ways… we’ve figured life out together.
Lily is 11.
She has ADHD and autism, and she is one of the strongest people I know.
She sees the world differently, feels things deeply, and constantly reminds me that there isn’t just one “right” way to be.
Rose is 10.
Witty, stubborn, and a full girly girl.
She knows exactly what she likes, isn’t easily swayed, and will absolutely stand her ground when she needs to.
And then there’s Nova.
She’s 7, the baby… and very aware of the fact she’s the baby.
Still full of that little-kid energy, still very much in the cuddles and chaos stage, and holding onto that “little” feeling that I’m not quite ready to let go of.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that… is me.
A mix of mum life, trying to find my own path, chasing goals a bit later than planned, and learning that that’s actually okay.
This space is where I share all of it.
The good bits, the messy bits, the things I’m figuring out as I go.
Nothing perfectly polished.
Just real life.
