Midwifery

While I was juggling packed lunches, school runs, and bedtime stories, I was also juggling textbooks, placement shifts, and revision notes—because I decided to train as a midwife while raising my four daughters. It wasn’t easy (understatement of the year!), but becoming a midwife had always been a dream of mine. I’ve always been drawn to the powerful, emotional, and transformative experience of birth, and I feel incredibly honoured to have supported families through such life-changing moments.

On this page, I’m sharing some of the study notes, revision resources, and lessons I picked up along the way—from someone who truly understands what it’s like to be studying with a full house and a full heart. Whether you’re a student midwife, a busy mum chasing the same dream, or just curious about the journey, I hope this space offers encouragement, insight, and a few handy tools to help you along the way.
